I think Virginia strategically picks which Kentucky teams they play, and usually picks the smaller KY schools to play their larger schools. I'm not sure which teams have played VA teams, but they've historically been Class A border schools who have been enticed to cross the border to play their larger schools. :thumb:

 

I am not sure about the other opponents, but Lee High is a Class A school that is 3-0 against KY, including an upset win over Middlesboro.

Great thread, I look forward to it every week. I am surprised you didn't mention the OC win over Apollo or did I just miss it?

Breathitt Co. held their own against VA for a few years. I think they were 3-1 or 4-0 against Powell Valley over a 4 year span.
