I was just looking at that schedule they put together this year and I have to assume they are expecting to be very good with it loaded like that. Besides there normal district schedule, heres there non-district portion:

 

Manual

Male

Western

Highlands

St Xavier

Johnson Central

 

I don't know too many, if any teams, regardless of class, have a nondistrict schedule like that, much less a 3a team..Kudos Central. Gotta play the best to be the best, I suppose...

They were expected to be loaded this year, which they probably are. I'm guessing there weren't too many teams eager to schedule them.

I'd say they are one of the favorites actually, along with Belfry... They very well could have a 4-6 regular season record and still win it all...

 

I forgot Bullitt East was also a non-district game....

Yeah BE was lucky to get in their schedule but BE-Central has been a pretty good rivalry over the years and it was a pretty even game.

Schedule is one of if not the best I've seen...you have to give them credit for that....and sorry this is off topic but have BE and Central played already and if so what was the score?

Bad snap on their extra point with 2 minutes left and they ran it in for a two point conversion.

I had a chance to ask their AD about their schedule and he stated that essentially no teams in AAA or AAAA would play them. Bullitt East and Western are obviously exceptions. I think most coaches and AD's might schedule one or two of these teams on A GREAT year, but their top to bottom schedule may be the toughest that I have ever seen.

 

**They could be anywhere from 3-7 to 5-5 and be the best team in AAA!
