2A Champ Predictions?

Featured Replies

Ncc has played a very tough schedule up to this point... but from here on out they really do not have very many tough games, they may not lose again. however they do have beechwood the last game of the season and that will be a good one as always

I would say that is one thing that hasn't helped FC in the past is blowing teams out right before the playoffs. Once we got in the playoffs we face difficult teams and we don't play to our full potential. Our discipline is not great. Also we get tired easily because we are not used to some players playing all 4 quarters. It's a good thing that ya'll play a good tough game right before the playoffs to get ya'll ready. Our schedule this year is a lot tougher than most years so hopefuly we'll be tougher once we get to the playoffs.

Probably NCC or Danville. I remember last year in 1A, everyone thought that Bardstown was going to plow over any apponent, then they got beat bad in the playoffs. Sometimes teams look good on paper, but they just have a really easy schedule.

NCC also has another tough opponent in 6A campbell county the week before beechwood, following a couple easy district games... and the coaching staff always has this team to play in the playoffs...

Danville has also played a tough schedual....

6A Madison Central- L 26-7 and Gerorge Rogers Clark- W 13-12

5A Southwestern- W 37-18

4A Boyle Co.- W 21-14

So the Ads have also had a really tough schedual along with NCC. So look for these 2 teams to meet each other again in the State Finals and look for the winner to be the team who flat out wants it the most.

Well I hope your not counting the tigers out this season because thier schedule has been the toughest schedules I have even seen at bardstown. They will not be beat easily, just ask the teams they have played so far. :fight:

I wouldn't count Owensboro Catholic out just yet either... Those guys lost to an exceptional 5a team in Evansville Rietz and then to a very solid 5a Owensboro team...I seriously doubt any 2a team being mentioned would have fared much better against these 2 teams. They have also soundly defeated a solid South Spencer, In team and a good 6a Apollo team... I'm not saying they're the team to beat, but, that they will certainly not be an easy out...

NewCath in a 3peat:ylsuper:

How can NCC win state when they can only beat HOLY CROSS by two touchdowns??? Wait till Danville!!:sssh:

I would agree that OC is one to watch out for. I think the other two WKY 2A schools in the hunt are Trigg and FC. The FC v OC and FC v Trigg games (back to back no less) will tell alot of how the West will play out.

Everyone is allowed a bad game. If the mental mistakes continue next week, then the Breds should be worried. It'll be a very very intense week of work for them at practice.

If I remember correctly, last year they lost to Holy Cross in the regular season and still managed to win state.

correct!!! then beat them big in the playoffs... NCC will really show what they have then... they will be just fine
