How good is McCreary Co. this year?

Featured Replies

They need to tackle and cover the pass. They need to have a consistent kicker. They have a very, very explosive offense, however.

Need to be taught responsibility, from what I can tell the coaches are giving them this mentality that every time they loose it is an officials fault. Officials may be a factor but you have to teach them to be mentally tough so when an official does make a mistake your team doesn't fall apart.

Raiders seem to be trending in the right direction for the first time in years. Hope there is some more talent coming up to continue to build on.

I was just going by what I saw in the McCreary paper, where the coaches specifically said they lost because of the official. I hope they improve and I wish them nothing but the best and they have improved but if those facts aren't straight then the coaches need to have a talk with the people at the McCreary County paper because that is where I saw the discrepancy and whose fault it was the team lost. I wasn't responding specifically to the knox game but more so the Williamsburg game is where the quote was made.

Also, if you want more of an answer I think McCreary is very good this year compared to where they have been in years past, and if they keep in the direction they are going they will be very competitive, maybe not as consistent as Bell and Rock but they should at least be able to consistently beat Knox and Madison Southern in the district at the rate they are going. It just takes time to develop and they are way along in that process just still have a ways to go.
