Highlands/Holmes Updates

Featured Replies

Three quick scores early, Highlands led 15-7.

Highlands led 25-7 at the half.

Highlands 39

Holmes 14 most of the way through the 3rd.

39-14 in the 3rd.

Miller scored from 75 on the first drive to put the Dogs up.

I think HHS returned the kickoff for a TD. Holmes them fumbled at the 40 giving the Birds a short field and it was on from there.

Highlands 46-14 late 3rd quarter

Actually Holmes scored first on a long run and were up 7-0.

HHS returned the Kickoff for the TD (I think it was Hurtt) HHS 15-Holmes 7

Then is was on. The ball has spent some time on the turf tonight

Actually Holmes scored first on a long run and were up 7-0.

Had the defenders gone after the ball instead of the RB, the QB wouldn't have gone on that long run. One, possibly two defenders ran right past the QB and then it was a foot race to the endzone.

Its either that or you're saying the HHS defenders made a conscious decision to chase a player they knew didn't have the ball. I'll go with the former.
