Rose Hill, led by the talented play of Euton and Jackson, will hook up with the Bobcats of Lee County on Saturday, January 19th 2008, at Morgan County High School in West Liberty. Tip-Off is set for 4:30.

The 2nd game will feature two of the 16th regions better girl's basketball teams for 2007-2008, in addition it will be a district showdown with huge seeding implications between the Lady Cougars of Morgan County and the Lady Raiders of East Carter H.S. Tip Off is for 6:15

In the nightcap, a boarder war is renewed when the Magoffin County Hornets come to West Liberty to take on the Cougars of Morgan County at 7:45. The Cougars and Hornets should be an excellent matchup...the Cougars return a good nucleus of players in 6'4" Stephen Barnett, 6'2" Cameron Dunn, 6'3" Brandon Ferguson, Tyler Adkins, Logan May, and strong sophomore Mikie Fyffe.

I have my tickets... :thumb:

Wouldn't miss it.

While it is nice to see Rose Hill play in all of these venues to provide an opportunity for fans far and wide to see Euton and Jackson play, it would seem to make more sense for them to schedule some home games so that they can enrich their own coffers rather than the coffers of everyone else. It does take money to operate a program and, since Rose Hill is a private school rather than a government school, it would seem that some fiscal wisdom is needed.

I am they are getting something out of most of these type deals, besides when you travel there is no expenses besides a bus.

I doubt that Rose Hill is receiving anything from these trips. Bus trips are not cheap with the price of gasoline and a trip to West Liberty will require a meal for the players, etc. Income: 0 Outgo: $300 plus

Home games pay the bills. Rose Hill better schedule a few particularly since they are in a position to be a drawing card for the next few years. They certainly owe no favors to their fellow 16th Region schools.

I'll be there one way or the other, but if you can nail Nets with that deal Sister, you're one sharp dealer. Nets is slippery... :sssh:

I'll see what I can do for you "special" people that can find their way to the hospitality room. Last year's hit was the salsa and guacomole dip....just ask Coach Steve Dodd of Russell.:D
