Sheldon Clark 53 Perry County Central 34

Giving up 34 points to Perry Central doesn't bode well for their defense though.

I talked with Coach Hager earlier in the week and he told me SC was going to be short handed. RB Kelley was out with an injury to his miniscus, but at the time they didn't know how serious. Also their center was out and they had one more lineman who was ejected from their last game in 2006 and had to sit out this one.

Any word yet on Kelley (or is it Kelly)?

Wow, a great game. The offense looked unstoppable, the defense couldnt stop a nosebleed for Sheldon Clark. PCC has a good core of young skill players.... good luck to both schools

Kelly should be back next game. Have to wait and see if Doctor releases him and how his knee is healing. Really missed him on defense. Kevin Scites will be back next game also. He's a big absence from the line.

PCC best LB was out Ryan Miller and is their starting RB.Their best player Demetri Travis who had 101 yards on 8 carries and is their best tackler went out with 8 min left in the 2nd qt. He did play a couple of plays in the second half but not very many.

Both teams had multiple injuries. Heres to a healthy and prosperous season for both teams.

WYMT said Dials had 373 yards on 38 carries.
