August 23, 200719 yr Author I would just take a tent or sleep in your car. Any hotel that you'll find at this point will probably be close to 2 hours away. Right now, the car is my best bet. Can i leave it running overnight with the ac cranked on high? :sssh:

August 23, 200719 yr Daniel Boone Motor Inn in Pikeville has rooms. 606-432-0365. I wouldn't stay there myself, but if you want a roof over your head and wake up 2 hours closer to home on Sunday morning you might be interested...and the Windmill Restaurant there has great breakfasts...

I've stayed at the DB while doing construction work in Pikeville. I've stayed at lots of places worse than that. But I would still just rough it in the car. And yes, if you're parked outside in the open air, you can leave it running so the a/c can work its magic.
