What kind of numbers does Paris anticipate this season? Who is now on staff?

I am thinking Paris has about 25 out right now.

Staff: Matt Thompson, KC Jones, Mike Chumbley (there could be more to join later I don't know?) Those three I know for sure.

Apparently Fields is taking some summer school to get things right. I hope he does, because he is a gifted athlete.

It will be tough for them to finish first. LCA is going to be good. It doesn't matter how bad they want it, they have to carry it over onto the field. In the past they have not been able to do that. Maybe the new coaches can get them to do that, who knows. With any coaching change, the fans need to realize that there is transition time. Everything doesn't start out rosy all the time.

But I am no expert, what I just said and 50 cents will buy you a can of pop....

I think this group of seniors and the group of juniors were not the ones with the attitude problem last year.

Paris always has some very gifted athletes. With the new coachng staff in place I think they will be a tough opponent for anyone in the district.

I would like to see the rivalary between Raceland and Paris come back like it use to be

That would be great!

The last game of the season we played Raceland got a little exciting.

It almost went down to the wire! Nothing like the game the week before that one.

I remember well the first game ever between Raceland and Paris, it was in the fall of 75' at Raceland. Raceland won in an o.t. (maybe 2ot's, not sure). That paticular game I believe was the hardest hitting h.s. football game that I have witnessed. All of the games that Raceland had with Paris during those years were absolute wars.

Oh BTW, Welcome to BGP!
