Vashon has been Missouri's top high school basketball program for years. The Vashon Wolverines won Missouri state championships in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2006. It is not uncommon to see Vashon ranked high nationally.

Yes ....

Mason County vs Christ Presbyterian Academy Nashville,TN

Looking at CPA's record this past season, I'm not sure that this will be much of a game.

Vashon was maybe a notch below the typical Vashon last year ... the Wolverines were 20-7 under a new coach. Lamont Bonner, a Vashon product that played for St. Louis U. and spent some time in the NBA, took over when previous coach Floyd Irons left amidst some controversy.

More people might remember him as Anthony Bonner. I think some players either did not get to play there this year or transferred out amidst all of the controversy. That game will most likely be much better than the Mason County game.

CPA is now coached by Former Vandy star Drew Maddux that has added couple of players like rivals.com 3 star D-1 player Zaccheus Mason ......... 2 or 3 of the kids play on the TN Tigers AAU Team ...... Should be a great game .......

I don't know where I came up with Lamont ... thanks for the correction.

Going by what they did last season, they better add a player or two if they're going to play competitively with Mason County.

Zaccheus Mason is a MONSTER !! Inside or outside ......This will be good for Mason County if they can stop this kid .... Should be great game and great event .....
