Miller, Mackey, Hopson, & Jenkins in CJ

Featured Replies

Miller will be the best of those listed above.

I've seen Jenkins play since he was a 5th grader on the AAU circuit and in middle school. Also witnessed his play last year for Manual. Yes he is a good high school player, but I don't buy into a ranking of 75th. There are alot of Kentucky players in his class that are as good or better.

Mackey is awfully good as well. Both have great futures ahead of them.

The No. 3 and 4 players on the list - Pompano Beach (Fla.) guard Kenny Boynton and Brooklyn guard Lance Stephenson - have Louisville high on their lists. Boynton has been offered by U of L, while Stephenson plays for the same high school - Lincoln - as former U of L recruit Sebastian Telfair and plays AAU ball with future Cardinal Lamont Jones.

UK commitment G.J. Vilarino of McKinney, Texas, checks in at No. 15 in the ratings, while Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North forward Stephen Van Treese is the top Hoosier.

The previously mentioned Jones - who plays for New York Rice - has committed to U of L and is ranked at No. 53.

If Mackey was committed to UK and not IU this thread would be blowing up talking about how great he was going to be.

But he's not and Miller might go to UK so the comments about him being the best of the bunch are, of course, going to start flying.

Well I think we have a lot to be proud of in this state with Miller and Mackey. I have seen both of them play several times and am impressed with them. They are different players so its hard to say well this one is much better than that one and on so on. I would love it if they would keep climbing and both become McDonald's All Americans!!

I am excited about the Kentucky-Indiana All star game next year!

Imagine having Miller, Mackey, Hopson, Mack, Moses, Sparks, Morris, Stepp, and a few others. That team is going to be stacked!!
