This was one heck of a game, with a lot of offense tonight, not sure about danville but somerset managed 15 hits on the night, including a 3 run homerun by Scott Moody.. It was 9-5 going into the 7th and Witten hit a 2-run Homerun but the the Jumpers were able to hold on to the lead..

Matt Grimes threw for Danville, he was relieved by Lance White in the 7th. For the life of me I can't remember who started for Somerset, but he pitched 6 innings I think. Somerset sent out a new pitcher for the 7th inning.

Good win for the Briar Jumpers.

It is a great win for the Jumpers they beat Danville. Witten was not on the hill for this one though so we will have to see how this holds up if they were to meet in region.
