May 12, 200719 yr Another tidbit I remember from the Heat commentary is that they were allowed to film on the tarmac at LAX. Which of course wouldn't be allowed AT ALL nowadays. Not to mention having to shut down a couple of blocks in downtown L.A. during the middle of the day.
May 12, 200719 yr Bahhh with all this movie talk. Allright FINE, no more movie talk. Instead let's talk about the STR, MPR, MPB,CNBC betting abbreviations that NONE of us can ever understand. lol
May 12, 200719 yr Not to mention having to shut down a couple of blocks in downtown L.A. during the middle of the day. On the Garden State dvd, Zach braff jokes about there is NEVER a problem being stuck in traffic in LA. During the opening scene with him driving to work you see a traffic jam, but Zach says he had to INTENTIONALLY drive slow to make it look like he was stuck in traffic. lol
May 12, 200719 yr That's the only scene that Pacino and De Niro have ever appeared together in a movie, despite starring in 2 together... Correction, we both got a little mixed up. They have done 2 movies together(Heat, The Godfather Part II). They were never in the same scene in the latter and Heat was the first and only movie with dialog between them.

May 12, 200719 yr If we combine both our thoughts, they make one logical thought... Or something. We were right, in our own way.

May 12, 200719 yr How can you not enjoy movie talk, HT? I've seen your list of favorites... It nearly mirrors mine... You obviously have good taste (If I like it, it must be good) so enjoy the talk and quit being a spoil sport... Or something like that....
May 12, 200719 yr Sounds like a plan to me. Are you going to place a bet on the odds that Tiger pulls a "Happy Gilmore" on Rory Sabbatini before Sunday? lol I would pay to see that. : ) Now we have betting AND movies. EVERYONE WINS. lol

I do enjoy a good movie and most of the same movies as you guys but i'm not real big on discussing them.

May 12, 200719 yr I was kidding too... That's the first time I've ever said spoil sport... I felt kind of dirty.... We'll let that stay in this thread.
May 12, 200719 yr Personally I would take Billy Madison over Happy Gilmore any day of the week... :scared: WHY!? lol I know Billy Madison is worth watching just to look at Bridgette Wilson, but Happy is FAR better darnit. : )
