The game went back and forth the whole game Raceland finally scored the winning run on a safety squeezein the bottom of the ninth.

Junior Matt Fultz had a stellar week fot the Royals going 10-13 with three doubles. He went 4-5 with 2 doubles tonight against the rams and also made a diving grab in the field.

Rams pitched sophomore pitchers Shawn Reynolds and Justin Ross in this game. The Royals did a nice job hitting the baseball off these two young pitchers. The Rams were lead in hitting by Deskins 2-3, Martin 3-5, and Grizzle 3-4. Also Wilson put down a key safety squeeze to win the game. Raceland plays at home tonight against Fairview at 5:30. Rams improved to 13-6 on the season.

Just to be accurate, the Royals pitched a freshman and an 8th grader.

Was that the only hit Wilson got in the game, did he only bat that one time?

Fultz is a great kid, and I've heard great things about him as a baseball player. I've been wanting to go to one of his games, but my work schedule just hasn't allowed it. I hope he keeps up the with the hot bat. :thumb: :thumb:

A win is a win! Congrats to the RAMS. Now lets go get Fairview!!
