April 28, 200719 yr ^^ First of all I never said anything about instincts. I said he is too slow which is true. His ball handling (passing/Dribbling) aren't polished enough to be an NBA PG. :thumb: He's a tweener for the NBA....He'll play in the league, but not more than a role player.

I just don't see how saying that he will be an nba player and that he will have to play some PG is biased. I think that that is pretty obvious.

No doubt he will have to play some PG, but IMO he is not quick enough to play with guys like Ford, Starbury, Billups, Nelson, Parker, Harris, etc. The bad thing is he'll likely struggle trying to guard guys at the 2G, and will have a difficult time getting his shot off against many of the considerably taller ones. As I've said, he'll play in the league, no doubt, but I don't look for him to have anything more than a solid 15 min. a game type career.

He in the SEC he had to be guarded by the likes of Corey Brewer and Tyrus Thomas and still lit up their teams like he did everyone else's. His size will be a problem when he plays defence in the nba, but not when he is on offense.

A role player and situational shooter.

It's a different level though when you have a guy like Kobe (HT, take notice, I'm complimenting your boy), or Bowen all over you. He'll be able to do it, but I wouldn't be shocked if his FG% dropped a decent amount because of it.

I just don't think guys like that will be guarding him unless he is on a team that is really bad. He will be on the floor with players that are bigger than him and probably better as well and I would assume that guys like that would guard better players and let someone else guard Chris. Just a hunch though. Hopefully he will land on a team with a good big man that will be the focus of the opposing team's defense.
April 28, 200719 yr ^Definitely a possibility. I still liken his potential career to Kyle Korver. Korver has averaged about 25MPG and just over 10PPG in his career. If Lofton could have that kinda success he'll be a very rich man....

I think he is a little bit better of an all around player than that but if those are his stats it would be hard to complain!:thumb:
