April 23, 200719 yr I will start it off with an easy one. 1. Oakland Raiders JaMarcus Russell QB LSU Easy? Not according to a lot of scouts and people in the NFL. Yes Russell is an obvious choice but everyone says that the Raiders really want to take Calvin Johnson.
April 23, 200719 yr 2.) Detroit Lions - Gaines Adams DE - Clemson Lions Could Trade this pick with the Bucks if Johnson is still on the board, none-the-less, the Lions end up with Adams. Cleveland Browns on the clock. Too bad I just had them pick Thomas...
April 23, 200719 yr Too bad I just had them pick Thomas... I already had it changed by the time you posted this. Gaines Adams is the more likely pick though, they need a pass rusher to get some help on that hideous D.

Martz needs someone to protect his QB. Thomas is one of the 5 elite players in this draft and he has to take one of them.

True, but I don't see it happening unless there is a trade and Oakland can land a starting QB. Rumor has it that Miami is wanting Trent Green and if they get him they will cut or Trade Culpepper.
April 23, 200719 yr 5.)Arizona on the clock. Since he's still out there, and since the Cards need it they go with....... Gaines Adams DE Clemson They need a lot more help on the O-Line than they do D-Line, but too good of a player in this spot too pass up.
April 23, 200719 yr 6. The Washington Redskins select Amobi Okoye DT from Louisville. Minnesota on the clock.
April 23, 200719 yr 7.) Minnesota Vikings select Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma Atlanta Falcons are on the clock
