how do u figure that western hills is a bottom team when they lost by a walkoff hr to woodford and basicly beat scott til it got rained out. Western hills is a middle team and in a couple years will be a top team.

A loss is a loss and good teams find a way to win, not lose...Woodford and Franklin County will be going to the region from the 41st.

Ok im glad to teams full of experience beat a team that is loaded with nothing but sophomores and only starting 3 seniors and 1 junior rest sophomores and freshmen and woodford barely beat whhs at the begining of the season at their place so better believe it will be WHHS and county in the regionals not woodford.

I agree with Huntman138. WHHS will be better than Woodford County by the time the season ends. Franklin County has potential to be in the top if they keep playin and getting better. As far as KYThorobreds list is concerned it is skewed because you only have two teams that should be called in the top and that would be Dunbar and Lex Cath. The next tier of teams could be beaten by most of the middle clubs on any given night and even a few of the ones he mentioned in the bottom (Western Hills). Hills just beat a very good Marion County team that just completely dominated #4 team in the state (Danville). Judged by this weekends results Danville would have been only the #4 team in the Capital city Classic maybe.

I agree with HUNTMAN138. Western Hills is better than Woodford Co. As far as your top tier teams it is flawed. There should only be two top tier teams and we both know it is Dunbar and Lex Cath. Most of the middle teams and maybe one or two of the lower teams you listed could contend on any given night. I guess you would put Harrison County border line bottom tier in that grouping as well? I know that answer and believe me I know there is at least a couple teams that could potentially move up in your list.

I would consider the #5 (Lexington Christian), #7 (Tates Creek), and #17 (Henry Clay) teams to be in the top tier of thier region...I don't see any flaws in that.

I might would drop #27 Lafayette to the middle tier.

Well Franklin County walked through the Capitol City Classic and it seems as if Danville is not as good as everyone thinks unless witten is on the hill. and personally I think that the rankings dont mean as much as you think because in high school baseball anybody can beat anybody

That may be true that they walked through it, but they walked through Hills, Woodford, Frankfort...teams they should have beaten.

but FC also beat Taylor County 14-2, and Taylor County beat a then undefeated Danville team.

Word has it that Franklin County will be without the majority of their starters for two weeks due to suspensions.

That is not true.

No county is without about 10 players all varsity for 2 games due to an off the field innicident and then one player is out for about 2 weeks.
