Williamsburg won the 13th region all a tonight. You cant count them out. They can hit and have two very good pitchers. If the defense fields the ball and They hit the ball all game, then Paintsville will have a tough time. Baseball is a funny game, anyone can win.

:thumb: No more true words ever spoken. You are absolutely right. A walk here, an error there, missed cut off man letting a run score, any number of things and you have a loss. Usually in football and basketball the best teams will win, not so in baseball, anything can happen.

:thumb: I think that would be far remote possibility though. Paintsvile might have the better chance of the two to make it that far.

I was just asking because it has been said for the last week and a half that the 9th would play Walton . I guess they figured Carrol had no chance . It looks like there is some bad info out there ,according to the schedule .

 

I just wanted to point out that TRIMBLE beat Walton and Carroll to win the 8th Region title. Evidently a lot of people counted their chickens wayyyyyyy tooooo early.
