The Raiders put up 17 runs on an equal amount of hits and 7 free passes.

Junior Austin Sebald went yard for the first time in his varsity career. Ryle threw Weis through 4 innings and got the win and junior Dylan Campbell made his first appearance on the hill for the last 3 innings getting the save.

Pretty sure you can't get credit for a seave in a 17-6 ball game. None the less, the Raiders keep on rolling.

Three innings, held lead, finished game, equals a save.

Good job Sebald.

SAVES FOR RELIEF PITCHERS

10.20

Credit a pitcher with a save when he meets all three of the following conditions:

(1) He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his club; and

(2) He is not the winning pitcher; and

(3) He qualifies under one of the following conditions:

(a) He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning; or

(b) He enters the game, regardless of the count, with the potential tying run either on base, or at bat, or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already on base or is one of the first two batsmen he faces); or

© He pitches effectively for at least three innings. No more than one save may be credited in each game.

Ummmm....your right. It was past midnight when I posted last night. Must have been thinking about the cooler side of the pillow. Coach Roesel did get about 16 0r 17 players into the game last night.
