Perfect situation for an opener. The Raiders got 24 runners on and built a quick 10-1 lead, giving coach Roesel an opportunity to throw all 4 pitchers from last year and even manage to get some subs into the game who did a fantastic job in their first varsity game. My only concern was replacing Babik & Gutridge in the outfield but Siebold and Sheehe made some great running catches. Last year Gutty's timely hits and Bab's ability to get on base took us a long way so we need to step up to fill those shoes and so far the new guys are looking good. Good hitting thru the line up and very good team D.

Considering Anderson played Moller (#24 in the country) in a close ballgame only loosing 4-0 on Monday, I think the Raiders played well. Looking forward to the Tates Creek Tourney this week.

No. Opened Thursday and don't play again until Monday.

I say yes, both coahes are very competitive and want to win the game they are in. Besides we will probably see each other four or five times this year, twice on the schedule, Tates Creek, Doc Morris ect.
