The Wildcats plated 9 runs in the 6th to put the game away. Senior Josh Giles went 5 innings, striking out 10 while walking just 1 batter. Fellow senior JR Davis fanned all 3 batters he faced in the 6th.

He was that good. The umpire kept a very close strike zone, but Josh was firing them in.

Jeremy Nunn started the game last night. He threw about 85 pitches through the first 3-4 innings. Not sure who will start at Lloyd today.

Yes Scott Brown is who I was referring to. From what I hear he is just as tough as giles if not better. I know he is a heck of a hitter. Sounds like Gall. Co. does have a tough 1-2-3 on the mound.

Two different styles of pitching. Giles can overpower with his fast ball while Brown changes speeds and nibbles at the corners. A pretty good 1-2 punch.
