After looking at the first schedule I was gonna say I cant believe Deming and Bracken do not play each other. Deming has some talented players (The King brothers, the Earlywines, etc.) too bad they play in a tough district.

Polarbear the King's do not play and only one Earlywine plays varsity. They have some talented juniors and sophomores on that team. The same juniors and sophomores that went undefeated in regular season play in Milford. Hopefully you can see them play.

Deming has a youngster pitcher that stepped up big for them the last couple of years. Who was that?

I would think you are talking about Workman or Young. Both are sophomores with bright futures.

Both the King's were outstanding players as kids... it's a shame they dont play. I'm, sure I'll catch a Bracken/Deming game at least.

Darius Workman is a good young player for the Devils. Hope he comes back from an injury he suffered this summer.

I do know that he had the screw in his elbow removed during winter and had a speedy recovery. I'm sure he'll be ready by the time the Devils have their first game.

Most of the games aren't on the KHSAA website

I think Joe Workman has done pretty good job with this team but it's hard to build up a team when every year you have to start over and rebuild again, again, and again. He keeps doing a good job though.

I remember Coach Larry Allison did a good job with the Devils back in the 80's when he was here turned out some good players like Joe Mitchell. He did a good job and had the same problems that Workman has, the main thing is getting the kids to get interested in the baseball program.
