I don't know how many elementary wrestling teams there are state-wide, but the McCreary County Elementary Wrestling team has been around for only three years and have won a state championship, and two runner-up spots.

 

Do any of your counties have elementary wrestling?

Johnson County has elementary wrestling. Last year they had 4 state champions and this year they had 2 state champions.

Ashland started an elementary program this year. I don't think that they competed outside the school district.

I don't know how many state championships McCreary has had individually, but overall in three seasons, they've had a couple of runner-up spots and a state championship.

McCreary County has impressive #'s in their program and that is because the admistration really backs their kids. :thumb:
