March 17, 200719 yr Lofton is a great scorer and that's about it. He's in the perfect system for that and he takes full advantage. Green is a very good scorer in a slow down system, and your claim to their superior talent is funny if you really believe Lofton is better. Green is BY FAR the best player on that team and they look as good as they do because he's on the floor. And why do you feel the need to blast the guys playing at UT not named Lofton? UT is just as talented as Georgetown when looking at what each want to accomplish. Here's a pop quiz. Better Scorer? I'll give you Lofton, but hold firm Green would be a super star in that system. Better Defender? Better Passer? Better Rebounder? Bigger Match up Problem? Better Leader? Look Chris is a VERY good player and as a scorer there aren't many in the country better at knocking down big shots. But the reality is he's not in the same league as a guy like Green. He doesn't pass well and should have a LOT more assists given the attention you have to pay to him. He doesn't help on the boards. He isn't a lock down defender because of his size and lateral quickness. Why continue to make silly claims that flat out aren't true when you can just let it go at what it is??? They don't play the same position! You obviously are stuck in your idea and I am in mine. They keep score for a reason. If you think Chris isn't a leader, look at UT's record the games he missed with his ankle injury. I agree that Green is a better rebounder and Defender but alot of that is due to his position and the 8 inches that he has on Chris. Green does have more assists but he also has better players around him than Chris does. And I would say that they are close to a wash when it comes to match-up problem. If Chris wasn't a matchup problem, he wouldn't average 20 pts a game in a power conference. If you think Green is a much better college player than Lofton you are wrong. He may be better, but if he is it isn't by much.

He may be just the only guy in the country who can keep Durant in check. Lofton guards guys that are his size and he doesn't do a great job at it. Green is a much better overall player, while Lofton is the better pure scorer.
March 17, 200719 yr I was for sure this thread was about if Chris Lofton could play in the NBA...Not who's better between JJ and Chris or Green or Chris...JJ's career is over and hes at the next level...Green and Chris will be there one day As for the guys who keep saying Chris cant do this and cant do that, thats fine...He keeps proving people wrong...If all you think is that Chris is a scorer, watch some UT games...he had 4 steals today...Game against Texas he had 30+ points and 11 rebounds...hes more than a scorer, hes a leader and defenses key on him every game...So again chris isnt JJ and hes not Green, hes Chris Lofton
