GO15AROD
Sour Grapes from 2003. June Buchanan had a good game plan and stuck to it. I wish that referees were never a factor, period.
Sports Fan for LIFE
Sorry--those grapes have long since turned to nutritious raisins! It is just a fact of life in the 14th. The advantage varies from year to year--depending on the hard politics and soft friendships of the moment. With that said--I would give the edge to the Bobcats this year! Just wait and see! Sounds like they are already on their way with the win over Buckhorn. :sssh: :irked:

KIDS FAN
This game was not nearly as bad as the semi-final and championship games at the 2003 games in Stanton. Breathitt County really got the shaft (leading by as many as 21 points) in the semi-finals. Powell fans shouldn't be complaining at all. Of course they got what they deserved when Oldham County drilled them by 23 points at Rupp. You must be joking, The officials didn't blow a 21 point lead in 16 minutes. Breathitt kept pushing looking for the 40 point blowout and it blew up in their face when Powell started hitting everything they threw up. Lose a 21 point lead in 16 minutes of high school basketball without a shot clock and you will lose almost everytime.
