Shew... I knew Pineville would draw Corbin!...

I'm hoping this will be one of the better matchups in the region tourney!..

No problemo

I'd obviously rather have Bell and South in the same bracket but I can't complain with it. If it pans out the way I think it should, we'll probably have a Corbin vs. Bell, South vs. Cumberland Final 4 and Corbin vs. South in the title game. Bell could very easily slip in there too. However, don't count out Pineville and Clay in Round 1. They a plenty capable of knockin some noggins.

Should be a good'un for region tourney fans.

I think the first round match-up with KC and South could be closer than many think.

I dont see Pineville being able to play with Corbin that close I say about a 12 point game..As for Clay "if" they play like they can then I think they can beat CUmberland by close to 10..

heres my predictions

1st Round

Pineville- 54

Corbin- 66

Bell Co-71

RedBird-55

South- 68

Knox- 56

Clay- 61

Cumberland- 53

2nd Round

Bell Co- 66

Corbin- 56

South- 67

Clay- 56

Final

Bell Co- 74

South- 71 in OT

You guys need to check out the Times-Tribune tommorrow. I did a neat little graphic and we have lots and lost of tidbit stuff for the Tournament.

South Laurel to win the 13th. Surprised at how much they beat Corbin.

Corbin got a tough draw based on Les' rankings. Open with #4 Pineville. If they win probably #2 Bell. Then #1 South waiting. Only Pineville's draw is worse. But as Mr. Flair said "If you want to be the best you've got to beat the best."

South got a tough draw too. KC gave em all they wanted and actually probably should have won that game considering they had a 12 point (correct me if I'm wrong) lead in the 4th. If this game plays out like that one, it could be a dandy. Cumberland and Clay have kinda taken a slide the last part of the year but are plenty capable of hanging with anyone in the region. When Desmond Johnson gets fed the ball in the post, nobody in the region can handle him. If they foul him, they are gonna pay because against Bell, he was money from the stripe. Clay is Clay and is gonna go 110% for 32 minutes.

South never trailed KC by 12 in the fourth quarter. The game was tied at 46 apiece going into the 4th quarter and the Cardinals outscored the Panthers 27-13 in the final eight minutes.

South trailed 34-26 at halftime and outscored KC 47-25 IN THE SECOND HALF.

Thanks for the clarification. I had just read on another site that said KC led by 12 in the 4th quarter. Regardless, KC is obviously capable of pulling an upset especially with their size in the backcourt but it will take a valiant effort by the Panthers. Furthermore, it will take a very bad night from the Cards to be upset. That's the fun of March Madness though.
