Carroll led 42-27 with about 4 minutes left. Owen scored the last 14 points. Carroll couldn't buy a free throw down the stretch. Green had 5 treys for Owen and had one bounce off the rim as time expired. Ballinger had 24 points and 17 rebounds for Carroll.

Owen had 2 shots at the end. What an upset that would have been.

Niether team went to their bench much, and the Owen Co. players

were in better shape. Ballinger is awesome, but forgets that there are four

more teammates out there with her. I hope this pumps up Owen and wakes

up Carroll, so the 31st District has a good show in the region. Congrats to

Carroll Co. I'd like to see them in the sweet sixteen.

Nice comeback by the Lady Rebs. One slight alter in the bounce of the final shot and they would have been the District Champs.. It was that close, my back has been bothering me and I couldn't help the Owen fans lean that one in like I wanted too.
