gold sunrise Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 The Cards move on to the finals of the district. Score was 17-6 after the first quarter. Montgomery Co had Paris down 19-6 at the end of the first quarter of their game. Looks like it will be a huge rival game on Friday between the Indians and Cards for the district crown.
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Congrats to Clark Co on the win, just take care of business and move on. : )
gold sunrise Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 Congrats to Clark Co on the win, just take care of business and move on. : ) :thumb: Just what some of the kids and I was talking about today....got to just go out and take care of business, and one game at a time.
J Livengood Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Bourbon was just down 13 at half... but the athleticism of the cardinals was too much int he final two stanzas... especially Jones inside, 12 of his 14 came in the second half... I'm in belief that the 40th district next year will be more wide open, and Bourbon certainly will not go 2-24 again... Special shoutout to those who listened to me this year on radio, makes my "job" fun... look forward to next season...
bricklayer Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Congrats on the win. I like this team and they have all the weapons they need. I hate to say it but as long as they don't fall asleep while Montgomery Co. runs their half court offense they shouldn't have much trouble. Great rivalry nonetheless, the atmosphere should be electrifying.
JOHN BOY Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Any stats on this one? Is Knowles back? He was only out one game:rolleyes:
Hoops Yoda Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Out one game - benched some... So did he have a good game tonight or what?
JOHN BOY Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Out one game - benched some... So did he have a good game tonight or what? Out one game , benched one quarter. He did OK tonight , I thought our defense was good but struggled on offense at times.

bricklayer Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Nice article GS. I am somewhat confused. Have all the issues with Knowles been resolved or are some still lingering? If this kid gets focused down the stretch they will be tough to handle by anyone.

I agree - if he and the team and Coach Humphrey get on the same page, it could be like the Holmes situation - peaking in March...

If this kid gets focused down the stretch they will be tough to handle by anyone. Some made too much of the issue...If anyone was at the game last night they could see first hand that things are fine with all the cards...even have everyone back from injuries, some are not 100% but everyone will see a big team effort from the cards. They are very focused and know now is the time to take care of business...one game at a time.:thumb:
