Your right. Mack is a junior. I have seen 3 or 4 juniors as good or better than any senior on my list. Your also correct in that I haven't seen Pettigrew play since late last season. Other than PRP and Tates Creek E'town hasn't played anybody worth driving that far to see them play. I was very impressed with Pettigrew last season. He was basically a very strong effective post player. Can he play out on the floor this year.

I think Beckham might be one of, if not the best player in the state. But he is from Louisville, so he won't get it. Tillford won it a couple years ago but the talent in the state that year was down. The talent this year is pretty good, with guys like Walls, Pettigrew and Proffit. He won't get enough votes from out in the state to win it.

I thought London was the epacenter of Kentucky and Louisville was "out in the state".

Its hard to argue against Pettigrew. I think Walls should be considered next, then followed by Beckham and Proffit.

Pettigrew hands down. His number are absolutely dominate over the rest. This years Mr. Basketball will be Pettigrew.

Pettigrew by far will win Mr.Basketball. but he will not be the best college player to come out of the 2007 class.

Matt Walls has played on the #1 team all year and beat the #2 team in the nation and was the leading scorer. He is automatic from the free throw line and clutch from anywhere else. Matt would average 40 if he played for E-Town. When E-Town wins something then I would consider Pettigrew.
