John Hardin rolled to their second straight victory (32-13), to start the season 2-0. This victory came against Seneca. This is the fist time the Bulldogs have started the season 2-0 since 2012. In this game, senior QB Adrain Lundsford threw TD passes to Aiden Franklin and Crishan Whitehead enroute to a dominating second half performance. Coach Jeremy Harness has this team playing hard. When they needed a stop in the second half, this defense rose to occasion. The Bulldogs were u 32-6 and gave up a meaningless TD in the final minutes with multiple backups in the game on defense.

Bardstown will pose a serious threat to the Bulldogs undefeated season. The Tigers have scored a combined 98 points in their first 2 games of the season but will be facing a team, in John Hardin that relies on their defense to make big plays during a game and turn the momentum around.

This game might come down to special teams play and there is none better than the Bulldogs K/P Ashton Russell who has made 2 FG over 40 yards this season and had multiple punts over 50 yards.

The Tigers beat John Hardin for their 6th consecutive win in this series. Both teams came into this game off of a short week full of 6:00 AM practices due to the unusually hot weather. Bardstown prevailed in a convincing 48-14 victory over John Hardin. Senior leader, Tylan Spalding, left the game early with an undisclosed injury. Enter Quintrell Phillips-Maddox! He was special, exploding for 1 rushing and 1 receiving touchdown, setting the edge on defense, and coming up with a key forced fumble off of an interception. Gavien Barber who punched two in the endzone as well, also had a big offensive night. Chi Poynter hauled in a 75 -yard touchdown reception along with a rushing TD.

Defensively the Tigers were lead by Lucas Wilcher and Eli Payton. Christian Yocum, Gavien Barber, and Isaiah Tonge all had great nights on the defensive side of the ball. Isaiah Tonge recorded an interception in this game also.

John Hardin must regroup as it hits the road next week to face Fairdale while Bardstown tries to go 4-0 vs crosstown rival Nelson County.
