#1 vs. #2 | The biggest game of the season, to date, unfolds tonight. Top ranked Trinity travels to arch-rival St. Xavier to meet the second ranked Tigers in a perfect alignment of the stars. The state's highest profile athletic rivalry will resume, this time on the diamond, between the top two ranked teams in the state. This will be the only regular season meeting between the two.

☘️ | T’s Grayson Willoughby turned in a stellar performance against Carmel (IN) with a complete game on the mound, allowing two hits and one earned run, plus a home run and two runs knocked in at the plate.

X | The X-Men are rolling into tonight's clash with Trinity, with three wins over ranked teams in the last week. The Tigers mercy ruled both Male and Sayre, and edged Madison Central by a couple of runs. Jakob Reed no-hit Male over five innings.

🇾🇪 🏆 | Whitley County claimed the 2A title, defeating Murray, Glasgow, and #22 LaRue County a combined 28-2 across the tournament's quarterfinal, semifinal, and final rounds. Ethan Allen pitched a complete game shutout to help clinch the crown against LaRue.

👑×3 | Keep an eye on Tyler Fryman and a potential triple crown season. The Beechwood star is currently #2 in both batting average (.618) and RBIs (32), as well as #3 in home runs (7), just one behind the state leaders. He may need a little help from Sam Ritter of W.E.B. DuBois, who's batting an absurd .750. Additionally, Fryman leads the state in runs and base hits.

If that isn't enough for you on Fryman, last month he won three titles in the state indoor track championship and his 4X400 relay team was runner up. Fryman is a 6 time state champion in track and very likely will add to that in this year's state track meet.

The term "generational talent" gets thrown around more than it should be, but it feels appropriate for Fryman within the context of Beechwood athletes. He's special.
