It came up on another thread - who has played the toughest schedule in the state this year? I don't see how someone could play a tougher schedule than Scott Co. this year... here are my facts to back it up:

In the Beach Ball

Here is some info on the team Scott Co. had to beat to get 5th place in the Beach Ball

Now I'm not even going to bring up the stiff competition at the Town Square Tournament that we played in just before the Beach Ball.;)

UHA, Newport Central Catholic, and Cov. Holy Cross are the "also rans" on the schedule.

Let's see if anyone can top it........ YODA

Scott Co plays the state's toughest schedule every year.

Of course they played the toughest schedule in the state, but darn you dont have to point it out. they get mad respect from everyone around the state. "Quit tooting your own horn" as most people would say.

Doss has played a very tough schedule as well sine everyone is tooting horns.

Ballard

J'Town (Twice)

Male (Twice)

Trinity

PRP (Once so far)

Fairdale (Twice so far)

Covington Catholic

Bryan Station

Warren Central

Im sure Male and Ballard have played just as hard a schedule as Doss too.

I thought BGP was created for 2 reasons

1. Horn Tooting of your own team

2. Venting on topics that are under your skin

A Lex. Catholic fan on another thread made the statement that they had played the toughest schedule in the state. I had a different opinion so I started this thread. Plus I wanted to see who else has played tough schedules. I know my Cards get respect from most - I'm actually harder on them than most of the posters on this board - but I do give them props when they deserve it - and their schedudle deserves it.

I live 100 miles away from Scott Co. I am not a SC alumni. So I wouldn't call it tooting my own horn because I agree they play the toughest schedule every year.

Henry Clay has played S.C Twice, B.S Twice, T.C. (3), Lafayette Twice, Trinity, Mason, Simon Kenton, Brossart, Paintsville, Allen Co. Scottsville, Brentwood, I think that is a pretty tough schedule

Scott County's schedule hands down....maybe even a little too tough down the stretch
