Beechwood 61 Pendleton County 54

Featured Replies

This one was much closer than I expected.

Both teams scorched the nets from behind the arc in the 1st half hitting 8 threes apiece.  Wildcats lead 38-33 at the break.   The 2nd half was a little more physical and Beechwood's size advantage paid dividends.  Neither team could find their range from the perimeter after the break (BW 1-9, PC 0-9).  Dylan Topmiller led Beechwood (4-0) with 19.  Jazi Grayson paced the Wildcats (1-2) with 13.  Pendleton County back in action here tonight at home vs. the other "Tigers" in NKY (Bellevue).  Beechwood back at it on Thursday night vs. Conner.

Beechwood 17...16...9...19.....61

Pendleton County 20...18...4...12.....54

Beechwood 21/47 FG (44.7%), 9-24 3PT (37.5%), 13-19 FT (68.4%)

Pendleton County 19-43 FG (44.2%), 8-20 3PT (40%), 8-13 FT (61.5%)

S/O @statman for the stats...good to see you, my friend!

Pendleton is not bad. But yes I expected a bigger margin here

Who is Beechwood's best player?

I will go with Topmiller. Not just off scoring avg but he drives this team. With that being said, the Tigers will definitely need another 1B & 1C options that's going to need to step up on a consistent basis as a legitimate contender will handicap Topmiller and will make Beechwood see who he can divert to for crunch time scoring and playmaking.
