Somerset 82 Rockcastle County 69

Featured Replies

Final from Somerset.  The Briar Jumpers break a 2 game skid, and get their offense on track.  They're 2-2 and 1-0 in the district.  Rockcastle County falls to 2-2, and 0-1 in the district.

A little surprised by this score. Congrats to the Jumpers.

There's a lot of parity in the 12th Region this year.  Rockcastle beats Danville by 18.  Danville beats Somerset by 7.  Somerset beats Rockcastle by 13.

I think you can take the teams ranked 2-10, throw them in a hat and rank them however you draw them out.  Any of those teams can beat one of the others.

Add to that McCreary Central beats Danville by 23.  McCreary Central loses to Rockcastle County by 16.  McCreary Central loses by 6 to Pulaski County in overtime on the road.

I see Danville mentioned a few times.  Are they supposed to be good this year?

They lost a couple of their better players but they should probably be better then they were.  Their success will probably be very match up dependent.  If they get hot from the outside and they're getting some open looks they could be a problem.
