The Gators (5-4) are hosting the Braves (5-4). The 3A State runner ups from last season will look to close the season with a good win before hosting Larue County next week in Round 1. Game got a little more interesting with the Hawks win over Taylor County last night. Greenwood will be hosting MNH in the 1st rd, a tough matchup but one I believe the Gators can win.

Greenwood should be able to own the LOS on both sides of the ball this evening and find a way to win this game. Union County just hasn’t been able to figure it out and the Gators are coming off a couple of losses to some way more talented football teams. Great get right spot.

Gators 7-0 End 1Q

Greenwood ball, 4th down around the Union County 10, a FG attempt to start the 2Q is GOOD.

Braves threatening in the Gators redzone to open 4Q.

Gators 31 Braves 16

Davis Chaney 2nd TD of the night

Big KOR for Union County, come out with 12 players on the field 1st play of the series. They’ve looked solid this 2H but the mistakes caught them early and that was just another example of one.

Gators 38 Braves 23

8:31 4Q

Defenses have not showed up this 2H. McPeake is a solid player for the Braves.

Gators 45 Braves 23

1:38 4Q

3rd TD for Chaney.

Please give us the final when you get it TBC.

Two very bad penalties for the Gators on the same play, awful hit on the Quarterback out of bounds.

Turnover on downs.
Gators kneeling.
