Congrats to Scott senior QB Trey Cook for breaking the school record for passing yards in a single season with over 2,000.

Ouuuch Charlie!!!! Did not expect the outcome to be anywhere near that lopsided. But Scott did have a much tougher schedule than Holmes and I guess this was their coming out party...or I guess going home party.

Is Holmes the only public high school in Covington? How are they so bad? Do all football players go to other surrounding schools? Didn’t they used to have a decent program?

Alot of factors come into play here, some are pretty deep.

Yes Holmes had much above decent programs in football and basketball.

I saw on Link NKY, were Cook threw for 7 TDs.  Not taking away from this accomplishment, but I ran into one of the coaches from Holmes last night.  Is there a reason why Scott was throwing up to the last second with varsity players on the field?

That's ridiculous.

didn't understand it either, why wasn't the back up in to get expérience.

Holmes is struggling across the board.  They have dropped to Division III in basketball, which puts them in with the very smallest of schools in Northern Kentucky.  I remember back in 1997 or 1998 when they dropped to Division II, that raised everyone's eyebrows.

Too bad the football team is not competitive.  It wasn't that long ago when they dumped a ton of money into their stadium and created an excellent football environment.
