How did they get here:  Beat West Jessamine (3-2, in PKs), Beat Prestonsburg (5-0)

Added Notes:

South Oldham is making their first state tournament appearance since 2018.  This is the deepest state run of their five trips since 2000.

Covington Catholic has made 5 State Finals appearances and won it all under Coach J Robertson in 2015.

Frank's pick:  Covington Catholic

if Covington Catholic pulls out a win it will be the first.

Looks like since 2020, these 2 have had some really great battles with South Oldham victorious 2 times and the game ending in a tie 4 times…..

There will be NO tying on Tuesday….

? #2 South Oldham (US #39, SoS 13.8)

?? #11 Cov Cath (US #157, SoS 13.1)

RO loves an underdog. Go Colonels! ?

Agree with @FrankNicodemus and the late, great Jimmy Dugan, "Are you tying? There's no tying on Tuesday!"
