Week 7

Keagan Maher (RB, Cooper)

🗞️ | He's more than just the “Maher” of Union… as of last Friday, he's also Cooper's all-time leading rusher. He gashed Dixie Heights for 173 yards and three scores to break the school record in style.
Season so far: 147 carries for 909 yards and 13 touchdowns | 137 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns

Colin Daniels (QB, North Oldham)

🗞️ | The state leader in touchdown passes uncorked six against Breckinridge County, plus a seventh score running. It's all stat padding for a couple of more weeks in anticipation of NO’s season finale against Atherton's stingy and talent laden defense.

Season so far: 105/153 (68%) for 1,569 yards and 26 touchdowns with 2 interceptions | 3 rushing touchdowns

Evan Hampton (RB, Owensboro)

🗞️ | He did a lot with a little, running for 169 yards and three scores on just seven carries against Marshall County. In the shadow of his own goal post, Hampton found the edge and blazed a path 93 yards to the endzone for one of the longest runs of his career.

Season so far: 85 carries for 765 yards and 9 touchdowns

Markezz Hightower (RB, Madisonville-North Hopkins)

🗞️ | 5A's leading rusher victimized Muhlenberg County again, dashing for 203 yards and four touchdowns after piling up 248 yards on the Mustangs last year.
Season so far: 123 carries for 1,106 yards and 18 touchdowns | 120 receiving yards

Landon Yoak (RB/LB, East Carter)

🗞️ | He barreled through Bath County's defense, draining the tub with 235 yards and two touchdowns. Yoak surpassed 4,000 career yards as he continues to add on to his school record total.
Season so far: 121 carries for 1,213 yards and 18 touchdowns | 16 tackles | 6 TFL | 1 sack

Cash Harney (QB, Covington Catholic)

🗞️ | The night belonged to the Bluebirds, but Harney continued to etch his name in the rivalry’s lore with another memorable performance. He accounted for touchdowns number five, six, and seven for his career against Highlands with 219 passing yards in defeat. His 91 yard hookup with Owen Pitzer surely ranks among the longest plays in the series' history, if not the longest.
Season so far: 70/108 (65%) for 1,152 yards and 9 touchdowns with 5 interceptions | 623 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns | 1 touchdown reception

Marlon Harbin III (ATH, Saint Xavier)

🗞️ | The official numbers aren't in, but we know enough to fill in the blanks for his night in ‘Title Town’. The whole X offense deserves one star, but Harbin is the face of the Tigers. He's had three sub-par weeks in a row as X is working on a three game skid.
Season so far: 34 carries for 244 yards and 6 touchdowns | 24 receptions for 229 yards and 3 touchdowns | 1 kick return touchdown | 1 interception

Trending Up 📈
Kaleb Miller (RB, Bell County)
🗞️ | Giving Daniel Thomas vibes… In one of 3A’s more highly anticipated games, Miller reached the speed of light to outrun Rockcastle’s Rockets for 371 yards and five touchdowns. He's averaging fifteen yards per carry for the season.
Season so far: 81 carries for 1,206 yards and 20 touchdowns | 1 receiving touchdown

Kain Patton (ATH, Prestonsburg)
🗞️ | The coal fields produce another diamond, this one shimmering in Floyd County. The Blackcats’ all-purpose back continues to spearhead their unbeaten season, totaling 346 yards from scrimmage - 233 rushing/113 receiving - and four touchdowns against Knott County Central. Patton is 2A’s leading rusher and #4 receiver.

 Season so far: 72 carries for 943 yards and 11 touchdowns | 20 receptions for 447 yards and 5 touchdowns | 37 tackles | 1 sack

‼️Milestones‼️
Cam O'Hara (QB, Cooper)
🗞️ | Maher wasn't the only one chasing landmarks in Edgewood. Against the red Colonels, O'Hara became the 12th quarterback in state history to pass for 10,000 career yards. The record for career touchdown passes is still on the table, but he needs to pick up the pace, still trailing Brady Atwell by 25.

Season so far: 74/137 (54%) for 1,044 yards and 9 touchdowns with 5 interceptions
