Hazard opens up district play with a road game against the Paintsville Tigers.  Hazard comes in on 3 game losing streak. Two of those three losses were against Class 1A Top 5 teams. Campbellsville was #4, Raceland was #2. Tough stretch but overall should make them better for the playoffs. But back to this one, Paintsville sits at 5-2 on the season with losses to Russell and Rideview Virginia. Both losses they were shutout 41-0. The road for them doesn’t get any easier after this game with Hazard, as they will make the trip up highway 23 to play Pikeville.  Paintsville won this game in 2023 14-3. 2023 was the worst season of the Hazard Bulldogs history. The first season under Chandler which was last year 2024, The Bulldogs won the Paintsville game 41-0. So Who wins this matchup in 2025?
