Belfry (5-1) will host East Ridge (2-4) on Thursday night at Philip Haywood Stadium in Belfry in yet another game between Pike County teams.

These two teams were district opponents from 2002-2012 with Pirates having dominated the Warriors in those 11 meetings, outscoring them by a combined 515-25, an average score of 46.8 - 2.27.

Belfry / East Ridge All-Time

Belfry has now dropped down a class and has rejoined East Ridge in 2A, District 8.

I think the Belfry offense may have ran 10 total plays to score 42 points against Pike Central. I want to say they had four one play scoring drives.

I expect them to run a a few more but not many more.

Let's call it 42-7 Belfry.

Get 'em in... get the running clock.. get 'em out... but most importantly avoid injury!

Bump.

Belfry’s third 1-play scoring drive. East Ridge has been content milling clock. Time of possession disparity would be hilarious in this one.

East Ridge attempts an onside kick to open the 2nd Half but Cayden Varney snatches it and then returns it for a TD instead.
