Hearing you may see some varsity starters coming down to play JV.  Highlands is young so this could be a good game.  Brossart has a good JV team, but if Highlands basically brings their varsity squad, I could hear some parents complaining about the birds, especially if they win.

Highlands varsity squad has 2 great games this week against Dixie (Tue) & St. Henry (Thu). 

Highlands has plenty of players to field a JV team for this tournament without bringing the Varsity "main" starters to play in it.  Now with that being said there might be 3-5 players that have started a game or 2 this season for the Birds that might play on the JV team for the tournament, but these are the players that Suli has been maneuvering around figuring out if they should be part of the "main" starters or not....  I don't foresee the "main" 8 field players that have started at least 7-9 of the 9 games dressing.  I hope that makes sense.

Just wanted to kibosh the idea that the Varsity starting 11 is strolling into T&C to play in this tournament.

That's unfortunate! I've been out of the loop since my kid graduated, but trying to attend games as NKY always has the talent. However, I do feel like high school soccer is losing talented kids due to club pushing to year round and that is where recruiting takes place. I know Ohio has taken the hit this year with CUP moving to MLS next. I don't like it as high school should be a fun four years!

Highlands is playing Brossart tonight as scheduled in the JV tournament at 6:45 at Town & Country.

Unfortunately, the lack of non Middle Schoolers to fill a roster will have the Birds bowing out for the remainder of the tournament. Glad Brossart was willing to play us with our predicament.

I hear it's the 4 C's playing in the JV Regionals semifinals. Calvary vs Cov Cath and Conner vs Cooper. 

Conner vs Cooper should be a good one. Conner just beat them 2-1 at Cooper. Last year these two played in the semifinals with Cooper walking away with the win…pretty sure Coach Cranfield will be looking for a better outcome this year. 

It is my understanding that JV Regionals for tomorrow are moved to Dixie with the finals taking place at 4:30pm due to homecoming for a few schools.
