These early season basketball scores are taking the fun out of football.

    Final.

Anyone have details or stats from this one?

Evidently Phelps led 40-34, before the wheels fell off.

Phelps' roster only has 11 kids, I think that kinda explains what happened. Pineville's has 23.

While I doubt Phelps has huge numbers, those 11 kids are all juniors and seniors. My guess is they have some sophomores and freshmen that haven't been added to the roster yet. (It's also arguable that inability to update data such as rosters before the season starts is the kind of small-level stuff good programs do and not-so-good programs let fall through the cracks).
