Their old coach, Gary Abbott, had surgery on his knees and before he left, he commented that he was the best coach in the state - and he is about 28-88 all-time at Monticello.

 

Their interim coach is Trevis Upchurch, his dad is Wade Upchurch. He has this team playing better and deserves the job, but I don't know if Abbott will get it back when he returns, or if they'll allow him to keep it.
