With Tim Riley taking the CAL job where does that leave the Aces?

Personally I’m not too familiar with Johnson but I think Payne or Barker would both do well there!

Big move for Riley to leave OC and head east to CAL in Louisville. He goes from maybe the toughest district in the 3rd region to the toughest in the 7th region, which is hands down the best overall in the state in some years. 

Will be interesting to see who gets this job. Should be an attractive spot.

He is one of the best coaches to come through this area. I don't see much coming up from OCMS and probably a reason he left OCHS. I do think they will attract a big name or someone who can coach. They will still be competitive, just not sure if they will match going to the region finals runs they had in the last 10 years. 

I would not be surprised if Brandon Fisher is a name that OC considers. He has plenty of head coaching experience on both the girls' and boys' sides. He spent last season as an assistant at Henderson County. 

I'm actually shocked this job hasn't been filled with an inside hire. They have the people on staff to do this job.

Like I told you with the OHS football job it won’t be an inside hire! Take that to the bank!

I'll listen this time. Just curious who are you hearing? I would think they would want to fill this quickly as possible.

I’d still watch for Brad Payne and former Campbellsville-Harrodsburg head coach Austin Sparrow! If it’s not one of them il be completely surprised!

I just don't see Coach Payne leaving. He got all those players over there to Daviess Co. They won't leave DC for Catholic. Either way I hope it works for them.

I think you will be right on this as well.  I just don't see them hiring inside.
