Nathan Sutton was announced this afternoon was named the new coach for Greenup Co. Sutton who played and was an assistant coach for the Musketeer's over 15 years ago. Sutton is a well-known basketball official who just two weeks ago called his 3rd state championship game in his 7th state tournament. Congratulations to Coach Sutton and best of luck.

This is a good thing. Nathan Sutton is the epitome of character along with a wealth of basketball knowledge. He has deep roots in the Greenup County school system and hopefully becomes a long term fixture at the helm of the program.

Greenup's gain is officiating's loss. Nathan is probably the 16th Region's best referee and one of the better ones around the state.

He's a good candidate to be a stabilizing force for the Musketeers, being a home grown product and former coach and educator there.

I can't think of a better fit.

Fantastic hire!  One of the best folks you can imagine to lead the program.  Exciting times ahead!
