New 6th Gen Fighter announced today. Supposed to be stealthier than anything ever made before it. Something of note from the announcement, these aircraft have been flying for over five years. These programs are higher than top secret, makes me wonder how many if any UFO sightings from the past were possibly the new F-47?

Next gen or 6th gen fighters are thought to possibly have the Loyal Wingman system. That system can have multiple high-speed drones capable of flying in formation with the manned aircraft. Drones could fly attack missions, surveillance or even as decoys for the manned fighter. Having potentially unmanned stealth drones alongside F-47's would be a huge force multiplier.

No specs on the F-47, to be built by Boeing, have been released. I'd expect it to exceed the F-22 in maneuverability and the electronic capabilities of both the F-22 and the F-35.

Wow it is unreal some of the stuff they are making.

Some people were speculating on what name to give it: Mustang II, Thunderbolt III, etc.

Someone said that because it was made by Boeing, it should be called "The Lawn Dart" (picture Wile E. Coyote).

Which I thought was hilarious!!
