🗞 | The Lions will be a force to be reckoned with in another year or so, but this game could/should get away from them. The Ashland team that waxed Boyd County in the 64th final will romp to another region title. Everyone in their path will need the Tomcats to have an off night. I don't see it happening here, as Zander Carter and Co. look laser focused.

Historically, Elliott has had success against Ashland in the region tournament. They have three wins over the Tomcats in Morehead over the last twenty years, including the 2007 finals. Counting regular and postseason games, Elliott is 11-7 in their last eighteen meetings with Ashland. Adding to that win total would require a monumental upset of the six time reigning champions of the region.
