24Rocks Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 Any opinions on what to expect in the 12th Region tournament? It looks like there are some pretty good teams. There are 4 with RPI's over .600. There are also 4 with only 0 to 3 regional losses. The bottom half of the bracket looks especially strong with West Jessamine, DCA, and Southwestern ranked at 1 - 3 in the RPI. Pulaski is also in that bracket and they are not a pushover with a 19-11 record and will be playing at home. Some wild cards. DCA doesn't have a regional loss since Grace Mbugua has been back. West Jessamine has suffered some injuries but are still unbeaten in regional competition. It could be a competitive and interesting tournament.

I don't know how the 12th is normally called, but I think the 9th has some very good refs at the top and I know most of those will be heading to the 12th. 1

There are a few in the 12th who should have hung it up a few years ago. For the most part they are pretty good but there are some who are a bit arrogant. 1
