? ? | Future Colonels see a thriller tonight in Park Hills.

Momentum shifts throughout the game, none bigger than a wild third quarter. Cov Cath up by six at halftime and Mad Central went on a 15-1 run, answered by a 12-2 rip by the Colonels, who entered the fourth up one.

Eight lead changes in the fourth before CCH took the lead for good on a Stava trey with 1:30 to play.

Jake Feldhaus was "as advertised." 30 points, showing everything from an alley-oop throwdown to burying 25 foot three-pointers.

Dylan Gaiser filled in more than ably for Cash Harney, scoring 20 to lead CCH. Great athleticism and creativity by the junior guard. Teegan Stava had his best game in blue; scored 17 and played great defense.

MCH: 18. 6. 17. 20. • 61

CCH: 13. 17. 12. 24. • 66

? District tourney matchups ~

Indians (18-11): 44th District, Monday vs. Madison Southern at EKU.

Colonels (21-8): 35th District, Wednesday vs. Holmes at Beechwood.

With all the “Future Colonels” in attendance and in the student section, their atmosphere was absolutely electric and intense matching the electricity and intensity playing out on the hardwood by 2 teams who straight got after each other.  Last night is all about why a cold winter Friday night in High School gym can be magical.  CCH is going to damn dangerous next year….that though is for another thread in about 4 months….

I think this has been a good series for both schools and hope it continues for a long time.
