I’d be interested to know the last time that Dawson Springs beat Madisonville. This is a big win for the Panthers!

1998 7th district tournament I believe. Chad Burgett was the coach.

We'll have to go back further than that. At least a 57 consecutive win streak ended for the Maroons last Tuesday.

I think you're one year off. Dawson Springs beat Madisonville 61-60 in the 1997 district tournament. Dawson lost to Christian County in the first round of the region. Madisonville beat Hopkins Central to make the region (this was when it was a three-team district and the brackets were wonky) but then lost to University Heights in the first round of the region. Trigg County would eventually win the region tournament.
